LaTeX2HTML-gui is a graphical user interface for LaTeX2HTML. You can set about 100 parameters of LaTeX2HTML in graphic dialogs instead of typing a config file. LaTeX2HTML offers the descriptions of all parameters without searching the documentation.

1 Introduction

LaTeX2HTML-gui is a graphical user interface for the program LaTeX2HTML. Instead of editing a config file with about 100 parameters do the following:

1. set the parameters of LaTeX2HTML in graphic dialogs

2. write the parameters to a config file (file menu)

3. choose a LaTeX file to translate

4. call LaTeX2HTML (file menu)

5. READY!

LaTeX2HTML offers the descriptions of all parameters without searching the documentation.

Remember: This is version 0.1 :-) If you have any suggestions for future versions of LaTeX2HTML let me know.

2 Installation

2.1 How to obtain LaTeX2HTML-gui

The current version can be obtained from the LaTeX2HTML download page

2.2 Requirements

LaTeX2HTML-gui was created under Linux operating system. It should run with any Linux dristribution and also under any other Unix system. It is also possible to use it on a Windows system, if you reach to install LaTeX2HTML :-(.

In addition it requires LaTeX2HTML, Perl and Perl/TK to be installed on your system.

2.3 Installing

At the moment LaTeX2HTML-gui is one single Perl script. Put it anywhere in your home directory (or e.g. /usr/local/bin if you have root access rights). Make sure that the file is executable.
